The strategies presented in this episode will be traveling with me on my next vacation. So much of the joy of past trips revolved around local food that I needed ideas on approaching new trips with a different mindset. This episode provided a new approach, especially preparing with a vision of what you want to look like at the end of the trip, and what you want your trip to center around. At the very least I can stop the “all or nothing” thinking and “start over” mentality that accompanied previous vacations.

Oh my goodness, what a great podcast. She is so down to earth, real, and speaks my language. She understands where we have all been and when she says it out loud, it makes me laugh. I am officially going on a veggie adventure. My mom is at fault 100 percent for me hating veggies. In the 60’s she boiled them to death. My god, I still remember the smell. I now have a way around them and shall put this entire podcast into motion. Rita opens the door to making the shift to an amazing future. I just have to walk through it!!!

I found Rita Black on the Beach Body app. I love this idea of hacking the unconscious mind. I bought her book and have been practicing her techniques for becoming a weight loss master. I find this to be a great tool in my toolbox. I am much more positive in my attitude towards weight loss in general.

friend who had lost 40 pounds with Rita. I started listening to Rita’s podcasts on my
drive. Because I wanted to actually do the exercises, I would listen again at home. I
found that listening multiple times actually helps cement the processes in my mind.

I have recently discovered Rita Black’s Thin Thinking podcast and I’m hooked! She has a voice that is extremely easy to listen to, but more than that, she has experienced everything that she is teaching. I have only listened to the first few episodes, but so far my favorite is #2 “I Know How to Lose Weight – Why Am I Still Struggling?” This one really hit home with me as someone who has struggled to lose weight for decades and has always promised to “start again tomorrow.” No more! I’ve been listening to Rita Black meditations for almost a year now. I first found them through another platform where they are part of a Relaxation and Meditation program. And although I was exercising daily and my body chemistry would change, the scale just would not budge. Yet, I was using the daily meditation and loving it, so I looked her up and low and behold found SHIFT. I bought the book and dove in. I’m only on Day 3 of my 31 day Thin Thinking Practice but I have learned so much already- about myself, my brain, my body, and how they can and will all work together to get me to my ideal weight. Don’t think about it anymore- do it for yourself, just buy the book and dive in!!

I am LOVING this show. I’m not quite sure how I found Rita originally but sometime last fall I must have signed up for her emails. Because just recently I started to look into using hypnosis as a way to lose this COVID 15. But I must have had this same idea last fall when I finally faced the fact that I had 15 extra pounds to show for the lockdown. Since lockdown I have been completely unable to get rid of it for any length of time. Now I have her book and I’m listening to these podcasts and I feel certain that I’m on the right path. For some reason listening to her podcasts have given me hope for some long term results. I think it is her beautiful voice. Lol. Very comforting. I’m looking into the audios available on her website but I want to get a little further in the book and listen to more of the episodes before I make my first selection. Give this podcast a try. I think you will really enjoy it.

Rita Black has changed my life. I was part of the Shift Weight Mastery. I now have a new way of thinking about myself. I show up for myself by using my Thin Thinking state of mind. I listen to my Inner Coach. I have learned to never start over. If I eat something that I didn’t plan on eating. I tell myself, “I ate that, but I just keep moving on, moving forward. Shifting is a lifestyle. It works. I promise you. I have lost weight and have never felt better because I have a different mind set. I don’t stress about food.
