This is me 40 lbs up and
struggling. Even though I was
on vacation, I was in prison
The trip to my ideal weight was not a straight down the scale 40 pounds and then a flat consistent line of weight mastery for 18 years—no my friend—far from it!!!
The Biggest Loser
Little did I know that I was GUILTY OF THE 4 REASONS WHY PEOPLE FAIL TO RELEASE WEIGHT SUCCESSFULLY!!!
What are the 4 reasons most people FAIL TO ACHIEVE long-term weight release Rita, YOU ASK??
- They never fully commit to weight “mastery”…they spend their whole lives in a perpetual state of “trying” to lose weight.
- They have no internal success system—they feel that success comes from finding the right diet and being good on it—but when the diet ends there is no change internally so they go back to their old “fat” habits.

Smoking Gun
So on went my struggle with my weight--day after day, donut after bagel, deprivation diet to wreckless bingeing abandon.
Things took a dramatic turn when I SHIFTED from a pack and a half-a-day smoker to a happy, healthy non-smoker with hypnosis. The answer hit me like a 20 pound bag of potatoes (before they were French fried).
I HAD IT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WRONG!!!!!
I had tried to quit smoking for years and was never successful—why?
Because I was a smoker who was always “trying” to quit—I never made the decision THAT I WAS “A NON-SMOKER”.
When I tried to quit I felt deprived because I still saw myself as a smoker who was just trying to live their pack and a half a day life without any cigarettes!
When I became a non-smoker by making the decision that I was one-- in the state of hypnosis—there was no deprivation because guess what? Non-smokers…they don’t smoke!!! That made stopping smoking easy—and permanent.
Aha!!!
You see, I had spent most of my life being a FAT PERSON “trying to lose weight” not as a person who was on a quest for “WEIGHT MASTERY”.
SO when I “SHIFTED” and I began my earnest quest to become a “WEIGHT RELEASE MASTER” with the use of hypnosis EVERYTHING CHANGED:
- I decided to commit myself to truly learning and discovering over time how to achieve and maintain my ideal weight in a way that worked for me forever.
- I changed my view of myself—I wasn’t a dieting failure I was an student of weight mastery—students can make mistakes and they learn from them so they always are improving.
- I realized that there were others I could learn to be a master from nutritionists, trainers, hypnotherapists, cognitive researchers and experts and other weight masters that I could learn from. I cultivated mentoring relationships with them to their coaching, and allowed myself to be inspired by them.
- I began asking for support from my friends and family and others I met along the way and created support systems that have kept me SHIFTING--even to this very day.
I FINALLY FOUND FREEDOM IN WEIGHT MASTERY
I released the weight and have stayed on my weight maintenance mastery journey for 2 decades. Each day I STILL WAKE UP AS A STUDENT OF WEIGHT MASTERY—and I love it.
I wouldn’t give up looking at the world through the eyes of an apprentice for anything—nor would I give up the joy of going to the closet everyday for the last two decades and putting on the same size clothes!!!
